The shower stall design leads to water everywhere!!! Open stalls aren't for everyone!!! The emergency lighting is excessively bright, disrupting sleep. Plus, the room window faced a public area, forcing closed blinds for privacy!!!

Really enjoyed my stay at Hosteria in Gonzar. The twin room was comfy and clean, making for a peaceful night’s sleep. Loved the outdoor patios. they were great spots to unwind after a long day on the Camino. The food was fantastic, especially the pilgrim meal, rich and flavorful. I faced some issues with the heating in my room. it didn’t work, leaving it quite cold. the service at times felt lacking, especially with one waitress who seemed uninterested in helping. She added a bit of a sour note to my dining experience. the place has potential but could improve the guest service.

The beef dishes in the restaurant were simply sublime—tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor! We also loved the efficiency of the facilities. laundry was a breeze, and the charming farm setting allowed us to enjoy watching the goats and cows while sipping our coffee.

We battled a storm upon arrival, which knocked out the internet and left us juggling cash payments.

The outdoor patios were great for relaxation.

My experience was marred by the lack of warmth from the staff, which felt excessively brusque at times. During my stay, I found the service quite disappointing, as I encountered a surly waitress who seemed uninterested in providing good service. I noticed that the key mechanism for the doors was a bit faulty, leading to minor inconveniences when accessing my room.

A comfortable stop on the Camino

I had a great experience during my one-night stay with a comfy and clean twin room right on the Camino path. The outdoor patios were a perfect spot to relax, and the food served was delicious, especially the pilgrim meal. I appreciated the peaceful atmosphere after dark, which allowed for a very restful night’s sleep. the service could be improved as I encountered a bit of a surly waitress during my meal.

It is a spacious hotel with tidy rooms and attentive staff, offering a delightful garden and outdoor patios!

After a long day on the Camino, we were warmly welcomed and enjoyed a lovely meal that hit the spot. The garden area and cozy patio made for perfect relaxation spots in the evening. Just a heads up, the emergency light was a bit bright and kept us awake a little longer than we'd like. 🌿
